| I write because I have a
burning desire to communicate. I believe the world's inhabitants should
realize that the barriers we put between us are imaginary and totally
man-made. If only we could realize we have the ability to speak the same
language, we would thrive. We should all take the time to listen to one
another. To hear one another.
Every human being feels the same emotions the world over . . . has the
same drives . . . has the same fears . . . the same needs. We all yearn
to be understood, to be accepted, to be loved, to be heard, to feel
appreciated, to feel needed, to feel important. We all want to be seen
as unique, and yet we all also want to be seen as conforming and
belonging to a whole. Writing, for me, is a way to showcase, in
metaphorical terms, the human condition at its worst and at its best. If
you are one of my readers, I hope you enjoy the process, and, most
importantly, that you receive something from my pages that leaves you
changed for the better.
